People complain that there is a road, a park next to the plot. Despite the court’s status quo, Sridhar Rao, the owner of Sandhya Convention in Gachibowli, is undertaking numerous construction projects. Several plot owners in the Fertilizers Corporation of India Employees Cooperative Housing Society have stated in their complaints. They have complained that they are carrying out constructions as per their wishes, without the layout and names. The plot owners have stated in their complaint that despite the High Court orders not to undertake any construction anywhere, construction is continuing unabated.

At the same time, they have complained that they are not allowed to carry out construction despite having permissions. They have stated in their complaint that the roads are being built at will and are expanding their business empire. They have complained that they have laid out a layout within the boundaries of Kapra jawahanagar and encroached on a 33-foot road. Out of the 48 complaints received by Pajavani, the majority are encroachments on parks and roads. HYDRAA Commissioner AV Ranganath has examined these and instructed the concerned authorities for further action.

Representatives of the BRICS Skywoods Welfare Association have complained to HYDRAA Prajavani that land encroachment is taking place in the government land and Chinnipedda Cheruvu area located in Survey No. 178 in Gopanpally village of Serilingampally mandal of Rangareddy District. The complaint states that on December 17, 2023, a person named Hamid demolished the government-built fence and cut down trees, and encroached on them. Even after the GHMC officials took possession and planted saplings, the encroachments did not stop. The colony residents stated in HYDRAA Prajavani that government land should be protected. Annarayan Cheruvu, located in the Nagaram municipality limits of Keesara Mandal in Medchal district, is being encroached upon. The Annarayan Cheruvu Protection Committee has filed a complaint in HYDRAA Prajavani.

Representatives of the protection committee stated that the pond is being filled with soil by dumping construction waste. They complained that despite the High Court issuing clear orders prohibiting any dumping activities in the ponds, the dumping of waste continued. They urged HYDRAA to take action as it is likely to pose a threat to the environment and water resources.

In MLA Colony on Banjara Hills Road No. 12, there is government land for up to 100 yards between two plots. Both sides are trying to occupy it. One of them has applied for the regularization of the occupied land. The other has complained in HYDRAA Prajavani that they are occupying more than 70 yards without applying for any application. The complainant stated that he has paid LRS. While his application is pending in the MRO office. The owner of the adjacent plot is not only directly occupying it but is also constructing a room. The Sakkubai Nagar layout in Shaikpet is 25 acres.  It has a total of 249 plots, 1and 6,158 yards have been allocated for public spaces. This layout has been revised. In 2022, Sakkubai Nagar residents complained in Prajavani that parks and roads were encroached upon at will, and the spaces intended for public spaces were converted into plots. In the complaint to Prajavani, the residents stated that the spaces intended for public spaces were revised in 2022 and reduced to 13,282 yards. They requested that 16 thousand yards be provided as per the old layout.

Residents of Begumpet and Bhagwanpuram have complained to Prajavani that a person encroaching on the flood canal coming from the airport in Bhagwanpuram is being flooded whenever it rains.  (Maxim News
