Kaleshwaram Case To CBI: BRS Protest In Telangana Council

Hyderabad, Sept 1 (Maxim News): BRS members staged a protest in the Telangana Legislative Council. It is known that the Legislative Council has decided to hand over the investigation into the Kaleshwaram Project to the CBI. BRS MLCs surrounded the podium of the council chairman and raised slogans against this decision. They shouted slogans of Jai Telangana.

The BRS members tore up the copies of the Kaleshwaram Commission report and threw them at the chairman. They shouted slogans like Rahul Gandhi does not want CBI. Revanth wants CBI. Council Chairman Gutta Sukhender Reddy expressed his impatience with the behavior of the BRS members.  He advised them not to come to the podium and asked them to protest in the allotted seats.

Amidst the protests of the BRS MLCs, the members introduced the bills in the House.  Later, the Council Chairman announced that the bills on the Panchayat Raj Amendment Act, the Municipal Corporation Amendment Act, and the Repeal of the Allopathic Private Medical Care Institutions Act had been approved by the House.
