Mumbai/Hyderabad, Sept 19 (Maxim News) : Bombay High Court has received another bomb threat mail. An unknown person sent a mail in the early hours of today (Friday) threatening to blow up the court with bombs.
The authorities were alerted. Additional police forces were called in and security was tightened as a precautionary measure.
Vehicles entering and leaving the court were checked at once. The police brought in a bomb squad and carried out inspections. Everyone breathed a sigh of relief as the checks revealed that there was no bomb.
The police are trying to trace and arrest the person who sent the threatening mail. However, the mail did not cause any disruption to the court proceedings.
This is the second time in a week that the Bombay High Court has received a bomb threat mail. Last Friday, September 12, a bomb threat mail was also received. Lawyers and staff were immediately sent out.
Police and the bomb squad reached the spot and conducted checks. No traces of bombs were found during the checks. (Maxim News)
