Hyderabad, Oct 1 (Maxim News): A truck carrying a liquor consignment caught fire on Street No. 8 in Ramanthapur on Wednesday. No casualties were reported.
Overhead wires coming into contact with the vehicle sparked the flames, police suspect. The alert driver managed to escape safely from the fire-engulfed truck, though several liquor bottles were damaged in the blaze. Firefighters quickly brought the fire under control.
Motorists and passersby attempted to grab some of the burning liquor bottles, creating chaos in the area for some time. The police quickly brought the situation under control. The value of the damaged property is yet to be estimated. (Maxim News)
