Thanda Residents Attack Police With Stones After They Destroyed Marijuana Plants
Sangareddy/Hyderabad, Oct 11 (Maxim News): A tense atmosphere prevailed in Challagidda Thanda in Sangareddy district. Thanda residents pelted stones at the police for allegedly destroying marijuana plants.
The Sangareddy District Task Force Police received a tip-off that cannabis was being cultivated in the Challagidda Thanda. Following this, the police reached Thanda this morning and conducted extensive checks. Cannabis plants were found in the cotton fields and the police destroyed them.
In this sequence, the residents of Thanda attacked the police. They attacked them with stones and injured them. Without stopping there, the residents of Thanda snatched the police’s cellphones. This created a tense situation there. Upon receiving the information, the Narayankhed DSP reached Thanda with a police force.(Maxim News)
