Jubilee Hills By-Election: Paramilitary Forces Deployed at 226 Sensitive Polling Stations
Hyderabad, Nov 10 (Maxim News): Security arrangements have been tightened ahead of the Jubilee Hills by-election, scheduled to be held tomorrow, November 11, from 7 AM to 6 PM. Officials have intensified preparations to ensure peaceful polling across the constituency.
Joint Commissioner of Police (West Zone) Tafseer Iqbal said that 226 polling stations across 65 locations have been identified as critical or sensitive. To maintain law and order, paramilitary forces have been deployed at these locations, and Section 144 will remain in force around polling areas to prevent gatherings and untoward incidents.
Strict Vigil and Security Measures
Joint CP Iqbal stated that non-local individuals staying in the constituency have been asked to leave as a precautionary measure. Police teams are checking hotels, lodges, function halls, and community centers, ensuring that outsiders are moved out of the area. Those found violating the order may face legal action, he warned.
A total of 1,761 local police personnel and eight companies of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) have been deployed to maintain security. The entire polling process will be monitored through CCTV cameras, drones, and live webcasting from all polling stations to ensure transparency.
Iqbal confirmed that no law and order incidents have been reported so far and that the situation remains peaceful.

The Jubilee Hills constituency has nearly 4 lakh registered voters, and 58 candidates are contesting in the by-election. The main contest is expected to be between Naveen Yadav (Congress), Maganti Sunitha (BRS), and Lankala Deepak Reddy (BJP). (Maxim News)
