Patna/Hyderabad, Nov 14 (Maxim News): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) continues its streak of victories across states, with exit polls and ongoing vote counts indicating a strong lead in the Bihar Assembly elections. According to predictions, BJP is set to emerge as the single largest party a decisive outcome. As the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) leads in most seats, Union Minister Giriraj Singh stated, “We have won Bihar. Now it is Bengal’s turn,” signifying the party’s next focus on West Bengal.

Giriraj Singh added that the party’s current lead proves there is no place for corruption, exploitation, or anarchy in Bihar. Praising the youth, he said, “It is a victory for development.” He also threw a direct challenge to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, asserting that the Bengal government functions as an ‘anarchy government.’

The minister highlighted that the people voted for peace, justice, and development. He stressed that while today’s youth may not have experienced earlier struggles, their elders have witnessed the state’s transformation. Referring to previous regimes, Singh criticized the government led by Tejashwi Yadav and described it as another phase of disorder. Assembly elections in West Bengal are likely to be conducted in March-April next year, indicating a fierce contest ahead.

Latest available figures suggest that the BJP-led NDA has crossed the majority mark of 122 in the 243-member Bihar Assembly and is currently ahead in 190 seats. In contrast, the opposition Grand Alliance led by Tejashwi Yadav’s RJD stands at 50 seats. Poll strategist Prashant Kishore commented that Suraj’s Party is leading in two seats. The counting of votes remains in progress, and official results are awaited.
