Chennai/Hyderabad, Dec 4 (Maxim News) Governor RN Ravi has expressed his anger that some people are creating fear among the people of the society by saying that they will eradicate Sanatana Dharma . Addressing a spiritual conference held in Varanasi on Wednesday under the auspices of ‘Tamil Kashi Sangam’, he said that the connection between Kashi and Tamil Nadu is not what it is today.
He said that Rajendra Chola came here about a thousand years ago and took the waters of the holy Ganga. He said that Kashi has remained eternal in the hearts of the Tamil people, and Shiva Perumal is proof of this.
He said that some people in Tamil Nadu are talking about eradicating Sanatan Dharma as times change. They said that by making such comments, their intention is to create unnecessary fear among the people. He said that the Centre has set up a special chair for Bharatiyars at Banaras Hindu University and has done many such good things. Union Minister L. Murugan and others participated in this program.
