Hyderabad honour killing case reported in Ameenpur

Hyderabad, Dec. 10 (Maxim News)  : A shocking honour killing has been reported in Ameenpur on the outskirts of Hyderabad. A young student, identified as Shravan Sai, was allegedly murdered by the family members of a girl studying in the same college.

Sai, who was pursuing BTech, was in a relationship with his classmate, a matter that reportedly angered her family.

According to the information provided, the girl’s family went to Sai’s hostel in Ameenpur on Monday night and asked him to come with them. When his friends questioned the family members, they claimed they were taking him home to speak about the two getting married.

However, after leaving the hostel, the family members allegedly attacked Sai severely. He lost consciousness due to multiple injuries, prompting the anxious relatives to shift him to a hospital. Doctors declared him dead on arrival.

Police have registered a case and have begun an investigation into the suspected honour killing. Officials are verifying the sequence of events and identifying all those involved in the assault. (Maxim News)
