Overall, the state recorded a pass percentage of 95.15.
Hyderabad SSC Results 2026 Raise Concerns
A total of 74,099 students appeared for the Class 10 exams in Hyderabad district. Out of them, 66,115 students passed. Meanwhile, 7,984 students failed the examination.
Despite being an education hub, Hyderabad failed to match the state average.
The city hosts several corporate, private, and government schools. In fact, many students from other districts come to Hyderabad for better education.
However, the results indicate gaps in performance across schools.
Private schools in the district recorded a pass percentage of 97.30. Although this figure appears high, it still falls short of the expected 100 percent results often claimed by institutions.
Moreover, several private schools charge high fees while promising top academic outcomes.
Therefore, the latest results highlight a mismatch between expectations and actual performance.
Education experts say consistent monitoring and academic support are needed to improve results in urban areas.
At the same time, officials advised schools to focus on student learning outcomes rather than just enrollment numbers.
The Hyderabad SSC Results 2026 have now triggered a wider discussion on education standards in the city.
Authorities are likely to review performance trends and take corrective measures in the coming months.
