Hyderabad, Sept. 3: Former BRS minister Srinivas Goud has called the dismissal of Konda Surekha from the Telangana Cabinet unfair.
Speaking at a BRS Rythu Garjana programme in Kosgi, Narayanpet district, Goud said removing a BC woman minister was unjust, even if the matter involved an internal party issue.
Srinivas Goud Questions Action Against Konda Surekha
Goud questioned why action was taken against Surekha when several Congress MLAs and leaders had allegedly spoken against the state government.
He alleged that Surekha was targeted because she is a BC woman. He also claimed that no action was taken against several leaders who had crossed party lines.

Goud accused the Congress government of adopting different standards while dealing with its ministers. He also alleged that several ministers faced accusations of corruption and commission taking but escaped action.
He further accused the Congress of failing to protect the interests of BCs. Goud said the party had acted in a partisan manner against Surekha.
The remarks were made during the BRS Rythu Garjana organised under the leadership of former MLA Patnam Narender Reddy. Former minister Sabitha Indra Reddy and several BRS leaders and workers attended the programme.
