Telangana Inter Exam Dates Changed Due To Holi Holiday

Hyderabad, Dec 17 (Maxim News): The Telangana Inter exam dates have been revised following a government holiday declared for Holi. The Board of Intermediate Education made minor changes to the examination schedule to avoid inconvenience to students. The announcement was made on December 17. The change mainly affects exams that were earlier scheduled on March 3.
According to the revised schedule, the exams that were to be held on March 3 have been postponed by one day. The government declared an official holiday on March 3 on the occasion of the Holi festival. Therefore, the Board decided to reschedule the Inter Second Year examinations planned for that day. The move aims to ensure that students do not face any difficulty due to the holiday.
Meanwhile, the Board confirmed that the Telangana Intermediate exams will be conducted from February 25 to March 18. The examinations will take place in two sessions every day. The first session will run from 9 am to 12 pm. The second session will be held from 2 pm to 5 pm. The Mathematics 2A, Botany, and Political Science exams for Inter Second Year students, earlier fixed for March 3, will now be conducted on March 4.
However, there is no change for certain first year exams. The Mathematics 1A and Botany examinations for Inter First Year students will be held as scheduled on March 2. According to the revised timetable, written exams will begin on February 25 with the second language paper for first year students. The second language exam for second year students will be held on February 26. English exams will follow on February 27 for first year and February 28 for second year students.
Later, the Board clarified the remaining schedule. Mathematics 1B and 2B, Zoology, and History exams will be conducted on March 5 and March 6 for first and second year students. Physics and Economics exams for second year students will take place on March 9 and March 10.
Chemistry and Commerce exams will be held on March 12 and March 13. Meanwhile, there are no changes in the practical examination dates. Practical exams will continue from February 2 to February 21. The Board has also uploaded the revised complete schedule on its official website. (Maxim News)
