Transforming MSMEs Digitally Seminar Highlights Growth Path

The “Transforming MSMEs Digitally” seminar stressed the need for small businesses to adopt digital tools as a long term investment. The Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry organised the seminar with BIT Innovative Technologies and Zoho Corporation. The event took place on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at Manjeera Plaza Hotel in Begumpet, Hyderabad. It focused on how digital adoption can strengthen MSME operations and financial discipline.

The seminar brought together MSME owners, entrepreneurs, finance managers and business leaders. They discussed the role of digital transformation in building sustainable growth. Speakers highlighted that digital systems improve transparency and business control. They also noted that banks prefer digitally enabled MSMEs due to better financial records. Therefore, digital adoption now plays a direct role in access to finance.

During the sessions, speakers explained how tools such as Zoho Books and Inventory help MSMEs. These tools offer real time insights and improve inventory control. They also support accurate financial records and smoother compliance. As a result, businesses can manage operations more efficiently. The discussion showed how digital platforms help MSMEs make informed decisions.

The programme began with opening remarks by Mr Lokesh Fatehpuria, Joint Director, FTCCI. This was followed by expert presentations. Mr Jayanth P R, Business Development Manager, Zoho Corporation, spoke about Zoho’s journey and its vision for MSME growth. Later, Mr Manoj Bejawar, CEO, Bejawar Innovative Technologies Pvt. Ltd., explained how Zoho Books and Inventory deliver measurable improvements in MSME performance.

A special address by Mr R. Ravi Kumar, President, FTCCI, added further context to the discussion. The seminar also featured customer testimonials that shared real world success stories and returns from digital adoption. In the concluding remarks, Mr Prem Chand Kankaria, Chairman, Banking, Finance and Capital Markets Committee, FTCCI, said digital transformation is not an expense but an investment in the financial future of MSMEs. He added that digitally savvy MSMEs gain bank finance and investor confidence more easily. The event ended with a Q and A session, presentation of mementoes, a vote of thanks by Mr K. K. Maheshwari, Senior Vice President, FTCCI, and a networking dinner.
