Meanwhile, Sajjanar said the Hyderabad police have been closely monitoring the Chinese manja trade for the last one month. He also said that cases are being registered under the Environment Protection Act and the BNS Act. “In every case a detailed investigation team is being done to identify the source of the Chinese manja,” Sajjanar stated, underlining the focus on tracking suppliers and larger networks.

Additionally, the police are keeping a close watch on e-commerce websites and online platforms. Sajjanar warned that cases will be registered against the management of such platforms if banned Chinese manja is found being sold. He urged people not to use Chinese manja, clearly stating that any violation will invite strict legal action. (Maxim News)
