AIMIM Invites Applications for Telangana Municipal Elections

Hyderabad: The All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) officially began accepting applications for party tickets ahead of the proposed Telangana Municipal Elections.

Party President Barrister Asaduddin Owaisi approved the commencement of the candidate selection process.

Aspiring candidates must download the application form from the official AIMIM Facebook page to begin the registration procedure.

The party requires all applicants to submit a non-refundable demand draft of ₹3,000 made in favor of AIMIM along with their completed forms.

Candidates must submit these documents to their respective district town party presidents.

The final deadline for the submission of all applications is January 20, 2026.

Town presidents are instructed to collect the forms and fees and forward them to the party headquarters at Darussalam.

Party Leadership to Finalize Candidate List

District leaders are strictly prohibited from announcing any candidate names independently during this preliminary phase.

Only completed applications submitted with the required demand draft will be considered for the final selection process.

The party headquarters will discard any incomplete submissions received after the stipulated deadline.

Once the internal review is finished, National President Barrister Asaduddin Owaisi will formally announce the final list of approved candidates.
