Laxmikant has been addicted to online games and betting for a year. In this process, he borrowed money from others in addition to his own and lost lakhs of rupees in betting. When the investment he made did not return and the pressure to repay the debts increased, Laxmikant had been suffering from mental anxiety for a few days. On Wednesday morning, he went to the bathroom saying that he was going to take a bath. When he did not come out for a long time, the suspicious family members broke the door and went inside. Laxmikant was found hanging from an iron rod there.

On receiving the information, Meerpet police reached the spot and collected details. The body was shifted to Osmania Hospital for postmortem. The police seized Laxmikant’s mobile phone. On which apps did he bet? Who did he borrow money from? They are investigating. The police said that online betting gives the illusion of making profits in the beginning, but in the end, it makes you lose everything. They appealed not to believe in any online game that promises easy money. If you have any problem, share it with your family members or seek counseling.
