Several Companies Sign Agreement With Telangana In Davos, Interest In Investment
Davos/Hyderabad, Jan 2 (Maxim News) Telangana is in talks with several companies for investment at the World Economic Forum (WEF) conference being held in Davos, Switzerland. CM Revanth Reddy’s team met United Arab Emirates (UAE) Finance Minister HE Abdullah bin Tawq Al Marri. The UAE government has expressed its readiness to be a partner in the development of ‘India ‘s Smartest Future City ‘ , which is being undertaken by the state government with great ambition .
In this meeting, CM Revanth explained in detail the ‘Fourth City’ project to be built near the state capital Hyderabad. He said that this city, which is being built with the goal of world-class infrastructure and sustainable development, will be a project that India will be proud of. After learning about the features of this project, the UAE representatives showed interest in sharing their country’s experience and technology in urban development with Telangana.
Memorandum of Understanding with Blaize
The Telangana government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with California-based Blaize in Davos. The company is developing low-power AI hardware and full-stack software for data center artificial computing. Blaize Co-Founder CEO Dinakar Munagala had a special meeting with Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy at the World Economic Forum . The agreement was signed after discussions on the occasion. This will accelerate the activities being undertaken in the electronics, semiconductor and artificial intelligence sectors in Telangana. Blaize already operates a research and development and engineering center in Hyderabad. Discussions were held on the occasion on the investment and plans to expand its R&D center. Pilot programs in Telangana with Israeli startups
Telangana CM Revanth Reddy, who is on a Davos visit, met with Israel Innovation Authority Chairman Alon Stoppel. The Telangana CMO revealed that Israel will support Telangana in the fields of AI, healthtech, agri-tech, cyber security and aerospace. The Telangana government said that it will organize pilot programs in the state with Israeli startups. They discussed extensively on cooperation with innovation startups related to agriculture and climate change. It was decided in the discussions that Israel will support and share partnerships with Telangana startups in technology fields such as artificial intelligence, deeptech innovation, healthtech, agri-tech, cyber security and aerospace.
Mastercard office in Hyderabad
Hyderabad has further strengthened its position as a major hub for the global Fintech and BFSI sectors. Recently, another international company has opened an office in Hyderabad. Leading global payments giant Mastercard has opened its office in Hyderabad. Mastercard CEO Michael Miebach made this key announcement at the World Economic Forum (Davos WEF) being held in Davos. Speaking to a news channel, he said that huge investments are flowing in the digital economy and cybersecurity sectors worldwide.
