Cabinet Meeting Led By CM Chandrababu Begins At Velagapudi Secretariat
Hyderabad: A cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu began at 10:30 am on Monday at the Velagapudi Secretariat.
Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, cabinet ministers, Chief Secretary Vijayanand, and government advisors attended the meeting. The agenda includes discussion on the alleged adulteration of ghee used in Tirumala laddus and preparations for the upcoming Assembly Budget Session.
Tirumala Laddu Case and Budget Session on Agenda
The cabinet is reviewing the report submitted by the Special Investigation Team formed to probe the Tirumala laddu ghee adulteration issue. Ministers are expected to deliberate on the findings, recommendations, and action proposed against those held responsible.
The meeting will also focus on the Assembly Budget Session scheduled to begin on February 11. Finance Minister Payyavula Keshav is set to present the full budget on February 14. Ministers are discussing floor strategy and key bills planned for introduction during the session.
In addition, the cabinet may approve a proposal to establish an Artificial Intelligence University and AI Living Labs in Amaravati. Land allocation for industrial projects to attract investments is also part of the agenda. The Chief Minister is expected to issue directions on the implementation of Super Six promises, fund allocation, and ongoing development works.
