Azharuddin Leads Massive Campaign in Kohir ahead of Municipal Elections
Azharuddin | Kohir, Feb/ 6 (Maxim News): In a remarkable show of strength ahead of the municipal elections, State Minorities Welfare Minister Mohammed Azharuddin led a grand campaign rally in Kohir Municipality that witnessed the participation of thousands of supporters.
The energetic atmosphere and massive public presence reflected the rising momentum in favor of the Congress party in the newly formed municipality.
Minister Azharuddin received a grand welcome from residents and party workers, with slogans and enthusiastic greetings marking the event.
Kohir Municipality comprises 16 wards, and strong representation from each ward underscored the party’s organized grassroots network.
Addressing the gathering, Mohammed Azharuddin expressed unwavering confidence in the party’s victory, stating, “Yahan ke 16 wards bilkul hum jeet rahe hain.”
Azhar encouraged party workers to continue their dedicated outreach and maintain unity to ensure a decisive mandate.
Former Minister Dr. A. Chandrasekhar, serving as the in-charge, along with Town Congress President Shamsheer Ali, played pivotal roles in organizing the successful rally.
Senior leaders including SETWIN Chairman Giridhar Reddy, Aatma Committee Chairman Ramalinga Reddy, Congress leader Ujwal Reddy, and Women’s Congress President Asma Tabassum were also present.

Yasmeen Begum (W/o Mohd Abdul Waheed), J. Gabriel (S/o J. Thimmaiah), Nanchari Shireesha Rani (D/o Late Nanchari Rathnaiah), Md Shakir Ali (S/o Md Yousuf Ali), Naziya Sulthana (W/o Md Shoukath Ali), S. Hina Maheen (W/o Md Abdul Mubashir), and Atiya Sultana (W/o Shaik Jaweed).
