Vivek Venkatswamy said the BRS government pushed the state into nearly ₹8 lakh crore debt. However, he added that despite this massive borrowing, the government failed to provide basic amenities to the common people. He stated that the ongoing protests by families displaced due to the Mallanna Sagar project clearly showed the injustice faced by farmers and oustees. According to him, these protests reflect years of neglect and broken promises under the previous rule.

Meanwhile, the Minister alleged that the BRS government cheated beneficiaries of the Double Bedroom housing scheme. He said houses were constructed without issuing pattas, which left thousands of families living in uncertainty. He also criticised the local MLA for failing to address the long-pending problems of residents in these colonies. However, he assured that if Congress is strengthened in the Dubbaka Municipality, pattas will be issued within 100 days. He further promised that all issues faced by residents of Double Bedroom colonies would be resolved.

Highlighting the welfare focus of the Congress government, Vivek Venkatswamy said new pensions are already being extended to eligible beneficiaries. He stated that this reflects the party’s commitment to social security and inclusive growth. He urged voters to judge political parties based on performance rather than empty promises. He remarked that while BRS sought votes by showing papers, Congress is bringing funds and delivering development on the ground.

Later, stressing the importance of local self-governance, the Minister said comprehensive development of Dubbaka Municipality is possible only by electing Congress councillors. He assured that if Congress candidates are elected in all 20 municipal wards, he would make sincere efforts to secure Revenue Division status for Dubbaka. He said this would ensure faster administrative services and accelerate development in the region. Senior Congress leaders, party workers, and local residents participated in the campaign in large numbers.
