IAS Officers Transferred In Telangana

Hyderabad, Feb 11 (Maxim News): The Telangana state government has made key changes in the administrative department. The government on Wednesday issued fresh orders transferring 10 IAS officers. These transfers have assumed importance during the municipal elections. The most crucial of these transfers is the appointment of a new MD for Singareni Corporation. Jyoti Buddha Prakash, who was till now the Secretary of the SC Development Department, has been appointed as the Chairman and Managing Director of Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL). Krishna Bhaskar, who was holding the in-charge till now, has been relieved of those responsibilities. Some senior IAS officers have been given additional responsibilities of key departments.

Sabyasachi Ghosh: He will take charge as Special Chief Secretary of the Tribal Welfare Department as well as the SC Development Department.

Sandeep Kumar Sultania: He will be the Director General of the Planning Department as well as the Telangana Remote Sensing Application Centre (TGRAC).

Divya Devarajan: Will hold additional charge as Commissioner of Panchayat Raj and Rural Development.

Katyayani Devi has been appointed as the nodal officer for ‘Prajavani’, a public service channel set up to address public concerns. Raghuram Sharma will take charge as the special secretary of the industries department and Mayank Mittal will take charge as the joint managing director of the water board. The government has said that these changes have been made with the aim of making the administration work more quickly. (Maxim News)
