Hyderabad, Feb 13 (Maxim News): AIMIM municipal election wins gathered momentum across Telangana as counting trends emerged in multiple districts on February 13, 2026.
As of 2 pm, the party secured victories in several municipal councils and wards, while it also gained leads in key locations.
In Kagaznagar Municipal Council, AIMIM candidate Abdul Mubeen won Ward 3. Meanwhile, in Sangareddy Municipal Council, AIMIM candidate Aijaz secured Ward 5. These early gains strengthened the party’s presence in district level civic bodies.
AIMIM Municipal Election Wins Spread Across Districts
In Zaheerabad, AIMIM won two seats. Sunamma secured Ward 8, a Dalit reserved seat, and Mohd. Rafi won Ward 14. Similarly, in Jagtial, AIMIM won Wards 31 and 34. The party is also leading in two additional wards there.
In Banswada, Farah Naaz won Ward 17 on an AIMIM ticket. Meanwhile, Shabbir Hussain secured Ward 4 in Vikarabad. In Nirmal, Mujahid Ali won Ward 29 for the party.
Further, Mohammed Taqui Chand secured Ward 23 in Narayanpet. Sana Afreen won Ward 9 in Kodangal. In Kohir, Rafi won Ward 8 representing AIMIM.
In Adilabad Municipal Council, AIMIM won six seats and is leading in two more wards. The winners include Nazeer Ahmed from Ward 34, Sameena Begum from Ward 22, Mohammed Roheet from Ward 44, Kishore from Ward 17, Nathsen from Ward 8 and Niyatullah from Ward 2.
Bhainsa witnessed a strong performance by AIMIM, where the party won eight wards.
Meanwhile, Independents, including BJP rebels, secured six wards.
In Bodhan, AIMIM dominated by winning 12 wards, including Wards 3, 5, 7, 8, 12, 18, 27, 28, 30, 31, 32 and 38.
Municipal Election Results
In Nalgonda, AIMIM won two seats. Rafi Uddin secured Ward 46, while Nadeem won Ward 29.
Gadwal: AIMIM triumphs in Ward No. 15 with Mohd. Ilyas.
Mahbubnagar Municipal Corporation: AIMIM claims Ward No. 14 led by Imran Shareef.
Narayanpet: AIMIM sweeps Ward No. 23 (Mohammed Taqui Chand) and Ward No. 24 (Mohammed Taqi Chand Peer).
The AIMIM municipal election wins reflect the party’s expanding footprint in several Telangana towns. Meanwhile, counting continues in remaining wards, and final results may further shape the civic landscape. (Maxim News)
