Hyderabad: Bangladesh Nationalist Party Chairman Tarique Rahman will take oath as the new Prime Minister of Bangladesh on February 17. The development follows his victory in the Bangladesh elections. Meanwhile, reports said that Indian Prime Minister Modi has been invited to attend the swearing in ceremony.

The oath ceremony will take place at the Southern Plaza of the Bangladesh Parliament House. The interim government led by Yunus has invited 13 countries to join the event. These include China, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Turkey, Qatar, Sri Lanka, Nepal and India. Therefore, the ceremony is expected to see the presence of several regional and global representatives.
