Congress Calls Telangana Leaders To Delhi After Strong Civic Poll Show

Hyderabad, Feb. 17 (Maxim News): The Indian National Congress has strengthened its position in Telangana after strong results in the recent municipal elections. The party not only secured good numbers but also used political strategy to capture more municipalities. Following the results, the party high command invited Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, ministers and key state leaders to Delhi.

According to party sources, a crucial meeting will take place under the leadership of AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge, senior leader Rahul Gandhi and General Secretary K C Venugopal.

During the meeting, leaders are expected to review the party’s performance in the municipal polls. They will also discuss internal coordination and future election plans.

Importantly, the high command may give clear direction on strengthening the party at the grassroots level. Leaders are likely to focus on expanding support in towns and rural areas.
