Jadcherla mortuary incident four suspended

Hyderabad, Mar 3 (Maxim News): Jadcherla mortuary incident has prompted action from the Telangana government after stray dogs reportedly mauled a body at a government hospital in Mahabubnagar district.

Authorities suspended four officials, including the hospital superintendent.

The action followed a media report highlighting the incident inside the mortuary. Soon after, the government ordered an inquiry into the matter.

Commissioner Ajay Kumar inspected the hospital and conducted a preliminary investigation.

Based on the findings, officials suspended Superintendent Chandrakala, RMO Harinath, duty doctor Munisha and MNO Raviprakash.

Officials said the incident occurred at the government hospital in Jadcherla. The government treated the matter as serious and moved quickly to fix responsibility.

Meanwhile, the health department has initiated further inquiry to examine lapses in security and supervision at the mortuary. Authorities are expected to review safety protocols to prevent similar incidents.

The government has not yet announced additional disciplinary measures. (Maxim News)
