Fuel Prices In The Country Will Not Increase: Center Key Decision
Delhi/Hyderabad, Mar 9 (Maxim News): The Center has given good news to the people of the country. In the wake of the war between Iran and Israel in West Asia and the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, reports have emerged that crude oil prices are likely to increase significantly in the international market.
In this context, the Center has given clarity on fuel prices. Even though crude oil prices have increased, the Central Government has made it clear that fuel prices in the country will not increase.
The Center has issued orders that oil companies should bear the losses. The decision taken by the Central Government has given a big relief to the common people and motorists.
Currently, with international crude oil prices crossing the $100 per barrel mark, the Center has decided to ensure that fuel prices in India do not become burdensome. For this, the Center has ordered oil marketing companies to temporarily bear the losses.
It has been stated that the country already has enough crude oil reserves for 25 days and refined fuels for another 25 days. A total of 8 weeks of fuel reserves are available. And.. supplies are stable due to ongoing imports from Russia and other countries. (Maxim News)
