Hyderabad rain red alert: heavy rains likely across Telangana
Hyderabad rain red alert | Hyderabad, March 25: Weather conditions changed suddenly across Telangana on Wednesday. The Meteorological Department warned of heavy to very heavy rainfall in several districts.
In particular, officials issued a Red Alert for Hyderabad and Rangareddy districts. According to the forecast, intense rain may hit these areas within the next few hours.
Heavy rain begins in parts of Hyderabad
Meanwhile, several parts of Hyderabad have already received heavy rain. For instance, Vanasthalipuram, Hayathnagar and Abdullapurmet reported intense showers. Some areas also witnessed hailstorms.
At the same time, moderate rainfall was reported in Ghatkesar, Pocharam, Annajiguda and Narapally. Besides Hyderabad and Rangareddy, other districts may also receive heavy rain.

In addition, the weather department issued an Orange Alert for Mancherial, Narayanpet and Vikarabad districts. Officials said these areas may receive heavy rainfall soon.
