Osmania University Announces Free Grand Test For Civils Aspirants
Hyderabad, March 30: The Civil Services Academy of Osmania University has opened registrations for a free Grand Test on General Studies for Civil Services and Group examination aspirants. The announcement came on March 30, 2026.
Dr Konda Nageshwar, Director of the Civil Services Academy, confirmed the initiative.
Dr Nageshwar said the academy designed the test to help candidates assess their preparation. He also said the programme reflects the university’s commitment to competitive exam training.
The academy is conducting the test with approval from Vice Chancellor Prof M Kumar. Officials said the initiative forms part of ongoing academic support programmes. Moreover, they said the academy continues to expand support for competitive examination aspirants.
The academy has provided free coaching for Civil Services and Group exams for the past ten months. Now the programme has reached its final stage. Therefore, the academy decided to conduct a free Grand Test for students.
Free General Studies Grand Test follows PSC pattern
Officials said the Grand Test will carry 150 marks. The paper will cover General Studies, a common subject for Civil Services and Group examinations.
Subject experts prepared the question paper. They also followed the Public Service Commission examination pattern.
The academy will conduct the test using a printed question booklet. Candidates will mark answers on an OMR sheet. Organisers said they will follow Public Service Commission guidelines.
Therefore, the test will simulate real examination conditions.
Officials asked interested candidates to register at the Civil Services Academy office.
They must complete registration on or before April 3, 2026. The academy said early registration will help smooth arrangements.
Candidates can also contact the academy office for details. The office will respond on working days.
Timings remain between 10 am and 5 pm. Officials said staff will guide students about the examination process.
Dr Vijay Kumar, Coordinator, said the academy aims to maintain high testing standards. He added that reliability and transparency remain priorities.
Dr Konda Nageshwar also urged aspirants to use this opportunity. He said such tests help students improve performance.
Officials said the academy plans more academic support activities. They also encouraged serious aspirants to participate.
