Tamilnadu / Hyderabad, March 30: Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam chief and actor Vijay has declared assets worth about Rs 520 crore in his election affidavit.
This marks his first public asset declaration after entering politics.

According to the affidavit, Vijay holds movable assets worth around Rs 405 crore. These include cash reserves, bank deposits, luxury vehicles, and investments. Meanwhile, his immovable assets stand at about Rs 115 crore. These include houses, buildings, and land holdings.

Vijay also disclosed financial assets held in the name of his wife Sangeetha. The affidavit lists significant bank deposits across major financial institutions. According to the document, she holds about Rs 25 crore in Indian Bank.
In addition, she holds about Rs 40 crore in Axis Bank. She also holds around Rs 20 crore in HDFC Bank. Altogether, her bank deposits total about Rs 85 crore.
Vijay remains one of the highest paid actors in Tamil cinema. Analysts say his earnings from films, endorsements, and investments contributed to his wealth.
