Hyderabad, April 2 (Maxim News): The suicide of a newlywed in Miyapur police station limits is causing a stir. A software employee committed suicide just a month after marrying her for love. Ishika Yadav from Bihar and Neeraj Bansal from Madhya Pradesh met through social media in 2020. When that acquaintance turned into love, the two got married on February 20, 2026 in the presence of elders.
Ishika and Neeraj live in an apartment in Makta Mahabubpet, Miyapur. Both the husband and wife earn a living by working in software. However, it seems that there has been a dispute between the two for some time over the issue of additional dowry. Unable to bear the harassment of her husband, Ishika committed suicide by hanging herself from a fan in her house. On the information given by her husband, the Miyapur police reached the spot. The body was taken to Gandhi Hospital for postmortem. The Miyapur police registered a case and started investigating on the complaint of the deceased’s family members. (Maxim News)
