Hyderabad, April 15 (Maxim News): The Telangana government has intensified efforts to transform Hyderabad into a global heritage destination with major restoration and beautification projects.

Tourism Minister Jupally Krishna Rao reviewed ongoing works at key heritage sites on Wednesday.

The minister, along with Tourism Development Corporation Managing Director Gouthami and AIMIM Charminar MLA Mir Zulfeqar Ali visited iconic landmarks including Charminar and Chowmahalla Palace.

During the visit, officials directed departments to speed up restoration and upgrade works.

Authorities have sanctioned ₹3.64 crore for the restoration of Machli Kaman.

In addition, renovation works are planned for Sher-e-Batil Kaman. Therefore, multiple heritage structures will undergo conservation in a phased manner.

Focus on Beautification and Tourism Growth

Officials have also planned beautification works around Charminar to enhance tourist appeal.

Moreover, departments will fast track conservation efforts across key heritage precincts in the city.
