Washington/Internet/Hyderabad, April 26 (Maxim News): The background of the suspect who opened fire at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner attended by US President Donald Trump has now become a topic of discussion everywhere. According to the information provided by the investigation teams, the suspect has been identified as 31-year-old Colo Thomas Allen from Torrance, California. Surprisingly, the suspect Allen appears in the records as a highly educated and intelligent person, not a criminal. If we look at his educational background, he completed his degree in mechanical engineering from the prestigious California Institute of Technology (Caltech) in 2017. Later, he also obtained a master’s degree in computer science from California State University.
Allen showed his creativity while studying. In 2017, while studying at Caltech, he created a special ’emergency brake’ system for wheelchairs and attracted the attention of the local press. As a testament to his talent in the field of technology, he also participated in the Jet Propulsion Lab Fellowship Program organized by NASA in 2014. He has not only excelled in engineering but also in the field of software. In addition to creating and trademarking a video game in 2018, he has recently mentioned in his profile that he is developing another game called ‘First Law’. He currently works as a teacher at an organization called ‘C2 Education’. In recognition of his commitment to teaching, he was also selected as the ‘Teacher of the Month’ in December 2024.
Politically, Allen appears to be a Democratic sympathizer. Federal Election Commission records show that he donated $25 to Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign. Authorities are analyzing the reasons why such a highly educated and creative person would suddenly make such a destructive decision. The investigation is ongoing to determine whether it was a political conflict or other psychological reasons. The fact that a person recognized as an intellectual in society would commit such a heinous act is now causing a stir in America. (Maxim News)
