Six Held for Dangerous Bike Stunts in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad City Police Task Force of Rajendranagar Zone, along with Attapur Police Station, arrested six persons for performing dangerous bike stunts and reckless driving on public roads in Attapur.

Police said the accused were creating panic among commuters and pedestrians by indulging in triple riding, over speeding, zig zag riding and risky stunts on busy roads.

Officials seized two scooters and six mobile phones used during the offence. The seized vehicles included a Maestro Deluxe scooter and a Dio scooter. The total value of the seized property was estimated at Rs. 1.5 lakh.

Hyderabad Police Crack Down On Bike Stunt Riders

According to police, the accused were travelling from Attapur to Aramghar while performing dangerous stunts. Officials said sparks were seen coming from the vehicles during the reckless rides, creating a serious threat to other motorists.

Police stated that the accused ignored public safety and violated multiple traffic rules by carrying out wheelies, racing and unsafe riding practices on public roads.

Among those arrested were students and workers from Attapur, Hassan Nagar, Kalapathar and Shivarampally areas. Police also noted that some of the accused had earlier been involved in petty offences related to bike stunts.

One accused was previously booked in a POCSO case registered at Attapur Police Station in 2024.

The operation was carried out under the supervision of Vibhav Gaikwad.

Police advised parents to monitor their children and discourage them from participating in unlawful and life threatening activities. Citizens were also urged to report incidents of dangerous driving and bike stunts to help improve road safety.
