Hyderabad, May 9 (Maxim News): Royal Enfield has achieved a major global milestone by becoming the world’s third strongest automotive brand, according to the Brand Finance Automotive Industry 2026 report.
The premium motorcycle maker secured the third position behind Toyota and BMW. The company also moved ahead of global brands such as Audi and Ferrari.
Royal Enfield received a Brand Strength Index score of 88.9 out of 100 along with an AAA rating. Its brand value also increased by 30 percent to 1.2 billion dollars, which is nearly Rs. 11,330 crore.
Royal Enfield expands global presence
The report also placed Tata Motors in the fifth position, while Mahindra & Mahindra and Maruti Suzuki also featured in the rankings.
In recent years, Royal Enfield has focused heavily on international expansion instead of limiting operations to the Indian market. The company now operates in more than 80 countries and runs over 3,200 retail outlets worldwide.
Demand for the brand has increased across Europe, Southeast Asia, South America and Australia. Industry experts say the company’s retro styling, simple riding experience and strong position in the mid size motorcycle segment have helped it gain global popularity.
Models such as the Royal Enfield Hunter 350, Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 and Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 have attracted both young riders and long distance touring enthusiasts.(Maxim News)
