Telangana Education Week | Hyderabad, May 11: The Telangana Education Department will organise “Education Week” across the state from May 11 to 17 under the Prajapalana–Pragati Pranali programme.
The initiative aims to showcase reforms in the education sector, improve school infrastructure and highlight student achievements in government schools.
The inaugural programme will be held at LB Stadium on May 11.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will attend the event as the chief guest and lay the foundation stone for development works under the Comprehensive Upgradation of Rural Education project.

As part of the week long celebrations, officials will set up exhibition stalls displaying government education initiatives, innovative teaching practices and student projects.
Ministers, legislators and senior officials are expected to visit the stalls and review progress in the public education sector.
The Education Secretary will address the gathering and explain the government’s plans to strengthen government schools across Telangana.
Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti and other dignitaries will also speak about reforms aimed at improving infrastructure and learning standards.
During the programme, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is expected to announce key measures related to school reforms, infrastructure expansion and better learning outcomes.
The government will also honour individuals and institutions that performed exceptionally in the education sector.
In addition, laptops will be distributed to students from Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas who qualified for the IIT Advanced examination through the Young India Institute of Excellence programme.
Officials said the initiative reflects the government’s focus on strengthening public education and encouraging academic excellence among students.
