Hyderabad, May 11: Bharat Rashtra Samithi president and former chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao will hold a key meeting with senior party leaders on May 12 at his Erravelli farmhouse.
According to party sources, the meeting will focus on strengthening the organisation and preparing the party structure for future political activities in Telangana.
BRS working president KT Rama Rao, party general secretaries, deputy leaders of the legislature party, and council leaders are expected to attend the meeting.
Party leaders said the discussions will begin after lunch at the Erravelli agricultural farmhouse.
The meeting comes at a time when the BRS is working to reorganise its internal structure after losing power in Telangana.
Senior leaders are likely to discuss strategies aimed at reviving the party cadre and expanding organisational activity across districts.
BRS likely to discuss party strengthening plans
According to a statement issued by BRS sources on Sunday, the meeting agenda includes organisational restructuring, membership drives, and the appointment of party in charges.
Leaders are also expected to review political developments in the state and discuss future programmes to strengthen the party at the grassroots level.
The BRS leadership has recently intensified internal meetings as part of efforts to energise party workers and improve coordination between district and state level leaders.
Political observers believe the May 12 meeting could play an important role in shaping the party’s strategy ahead of upcoming local body and electoral activities in Telangana.
The BRS, which ruled Telangana for nearly a decade before losing the Assembly elections, has been focusing on rebuilding its organisational network and reconnecting with party workers across the state.
Party leaders are also expected to discuss outreach programmes and public campaigns during the closed door meeting at Erravelli.
