GHMC | Hyderabad, May 13: Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation has intensified preparations for the upcoming Swachh Survekshan by speeding up sanitation works, documentation and public awareness campaigns across the city.
Officials said Swachh Survekshan is not a temporary exercise conducted only before inspection teams visit the city. They stated that GHMC has been implementing sanitation and waste management activities throughout the year.
The civic body must submit detailed records related to all activities covered under the 12,500 marks evaluation system of the national cleanliness survey. Officials are preparing complete documentation, including bills, reports, agreements, photographs and digital records for submission to central inspection teams.

MoUs, meeting records and media links connected to awareness drives are also being prepared for inspection.
The survey additionally gives importance to sanitation workers’ welfare. GHMC is preparing digital and physical records of sanitation workers, including training details and annual health checkups conducted during the last three years.
Authorities are also compiling records related to worker helplines, grievance systems, WhatsApp complaint services and complaint resolution mechanisms.
