Telangana Formation Day | Hyderabad, June 1 (Maxim News): The Telangana government will celebrate Telangana Formation Day at Secunderabad Parade Grounds on June 2. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, ministers, officials, and thousands of people will attend the event.
Therefore, the Malkajgiri Traffic Police will impose traffic restrictions from 7 am to 12 noon. Police expect heavy traffic around the venue during the celebrations.
As a result, commuters should plan their travel in advance. They should also avoid roads leading to the Parade Grounds during the event.
Telangana Formation Day Traffic Restrictions
According to the traffic advisory, motorists should use alternative routes to avoid congestion.
Vehicles travelling from Begumpet to Sangeeth Junction can move via Paradise, Patny and Clock Tower. Likewise, commuters heading to Tirumalagiri can travel through St. John’s Rotary, Shenoy, AOC and KV routes.
Similarly, traffic police have announced diversions for routes connecting Secunderabad, Bowenpally, Tank Bund and Tirumalagiri. Therefore, motorists should follow police instructions at all junctions.

Meanwhile, authorities strongly advised commuters to use Hyderabad Metro Rail and other public transport services. This step can help reduce traffic pressure near the venue.
In addition, heavy vehicles, RTC buses and private travel buses should avoid roads near the Parade Grounds from 6 am to 1 pm.
Police will not allow roadside parking near the venue. Moreover, officials will tow unauthorised vehicles and initiate action against violators.
However, emergency vehicles will receive priority movement whenever required.
The police have identified four designated parking areas for visitors. Furthermore, QR code navigation support will guide motorists to the parking locations.
Traffic officials will closely monitor vehicle movement through CCTV cameras and control rooms. They will also share real time traffic updates through social media platforms and FM radio channels.
