Hyderabad, June 6: Telangana Minister Vakiti Srihari and Fisheries Corporation Chairman Mettu Sai on Friday said extensive arrangements have been made for the annual Fish Prasadam distribution programme, which is expected to attract more than one lakh devotees from across the country.
The minister said the event continues to draw large numbers of people every year through public trust and word of mouth, without the need for extensive publicity.
Fish Prasadam Distribution Arrangements Completed
Officials said more than three lakh baby fish have been prepared to meet the expected demand. Special measures have been taken to ensure that Fish Prasadam is available to every devotee attending the programme.
According to the organisers, the distribution will begin at 9 pm on June 8 and continue until the evening of June 9. Additional counters have been established this year to manage the anticipated rush and improve the flow of devotees.
Vakiti Srihari said over 200 personnel from the Fisheries Department will be deployed to assist with the arrangements and ensure smooth conduct of the event.
The minister stated that all necessary facilities have been arranged to prevent inconvenience to devotees. He urged participants to attend the programme without misconceptions and assured that adequate preparations have been made for the large gathering.
