Hyderabad Mega Job Mela Empowers Minority Youth

Hyderabad Mega Job Mela | Hyderabad, June 9, 2026: The Telangana Government organized a Mega Job Mela at Red Rose Palace, Nampally. The Minorities Welfare Department and Telangana Minorities Finance Corporation (TGMFC) conducted the event under the Praja Palana Pragathi Pranalika.

Minister Ponnam Prabhakar and Minister Mohammed Azharuddin inaugurated the Job Mela. They officially launched the large-scale recruitment drive for minority youth in Hyderabad.

Several senior leaders attended the event. These included Rajya Sabha MP Anil Kumar Yadav, Government Advisor Mohammed Ali Shabbir, TGMFC Chairman Obedullah Kotwal, and other senior officials.

Minister Mohammed Azharuddin thanked all departments for the successful organization of the Job Mela. He also appreciated TGMFC for its coordination.

He said the Telangana Government has expanded employment opportunities over the last two years. At the same time, he said the government focuses on inclusive development for minority communities.

He added that the government plans to create nearly one lakh job opportunities across the state. Therefore, departments are working together to connect youth with jobs.

Job Mela aims for real employment outcomes

Azharuddin said the Job Mela goes beyond issuing offer letters. Instead, it ensures real and sustainable employment.

He explained that officials will track selected candidates until they join their jobs. This process increases accountability.

He also announced that similar Job Melas will soon take place in districts like Nizamabad. As a result, more youth across Telangana will benefit.

Skill development takes priority

The Minister urged youth to improve their skills and education. He encouraged them to join training programs under TGMFC.

He said skill development increases job opportunities. Therefore, youth must actively use these training programs.

He added that discipline and hard work lead to better careers. Meanwhile, the government continues to expand skill development initiatives.

Hyderabad Mega Job Mela  | 2,000 candidates attend, 60 companies participate

Around 50 to 60 companies participated in the Job Mela. They offered jobs across multiple sectors.

These sectors included logistics, retail, hospitality, manufacturing, IT, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, construction, and IT services.

Nearly 2,000 candidates from across Telangana attended the event. In addition, 20 training institutes participated in the program.

Officials also conducted career counselling sessions. They registered candidates for future skill development programs.

Government strengthens employment ecosystem

The Telangana Government continues to promote jobs, skills, and entrepreneurship. It also supports long-term livelihood programs for youth.

Officials said they will replicate the Job Mela model in other districts. Therefore, more unemployed youth will receive opportunities in the coming months.
