Hyderabad: GHMC Commissioner and District Election Officer RV Karnan reviewed the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls with representatives of recognised political parties in Hyderabad.
During the meeting, Karnan said voters who fail to submit enumeration forms may not find their names in the draft electoral roll. He stressed the importance of completing the process within the prescribed timeline.
The commissioner explained the Special Intensive Revision process in detail and highlighted the need for a transparent, inclusive and error-free electoral roll. He said enumeration forms would be distributed in English to help voters understand and fill them correctly.
Special Intensive Revision Process Explained
Karnan urged political party representatives to cooperate with Booth Level Officers during the revision exercise. He requested them not to obstruct officials while they perform their duties.
He also appealed to political parties to encourage voters to submit duly filled enumeration forms on time. According to officials, timely submission will help ensure accurate voter records.
