What is the representation of 2.6 lakh CPS employees?

The Telangana CPS Employees Union has questioned the government about the representation of 2.6 lakh CPS employees in the Employees Healthcare Trust. The association’s state president Sthitapragnya, general secretary Kalwal Srikanth and treasurer Naresh Goud have expressed their deep dissatisfaction over the non-representation of the CPSEU in the board of trustees. They said that it is regrettable that the association, which is fighting for the abolition of the CPS, has not been given a place.

CM Revanth Reddy responded immediately and demanded that the CPSEU be given a share and GO 40 be amended. JAC Chairman K Lakshmaiah and General Secretary Tulasi Satyanarayana said that it was unfair not to provide a place to the Telangana Government Pensioners JAC in the trust. They said that they were deeply shocked that the JAC, which represents 42 associations and 2 lakh pensioners, was not provided a place. They warned that this injustice should be corrected immediately, otherwise they would have to announce a struggle. (Maxim News)
