Internet/Hyderabad, june 18 (Maxim News): it is an undeniable truth that military rule prevails over popular rule in Pakistan. This has been proven once again recently. The Pakistani Legislature has been working under the cover of the Pakistani Intelligence Agency ISI. This fact was admitted by the country’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asif himself in the National Assembly. he alleged that this situation arose because of former prime minister Imran Khan.
Speaking in the National Assembly of Pakistan, Khawaja Asif said, “ISI was given complete freedom during the Imran Khan regime. The then intelligence chief, General Faiz hamid, often participated in official meetings. He attended meetings held at the then speaker’s residence and influenced the activities and decisions of the legislature. Due to pressure from the ISI, some key amendments had to be made at that time. The Anti-Money laundering Act was amended. Moreover, some laws were brought into force in favor of the intelligence agency.” However, Khawaja said on this occasion that his government is working with the army. He said that his government is following a civilian-military hybrid governance system, which is yielding good results. (Maxim News)
