Hyderabad, June 18 (Maxim News): A minor girl from Khammam district, who is undergoing treatment at Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) after a sexual assault, underwent surgery as doctors continued to provide advanced medical care for her recovery.
State Women and Child Welfare Minister Seethakka and Telangana Legal Services Authority Member Secretary Justice Panchakshari visited NIMS Hospital recently to review the girl’s health condition and assess the treatment being provided.
Doctors briefed the Minister and Justice Panchakshari on the surgery and the victim’s post operative condition. The medical team informed them that the girl’s health is under constant monitoring and that all necessary treatment and specialist care are being provided.
Government Assures Full Support to Victim’s Family
During the visit, Minister Seethakka met the girl’s parents and assured them that the Telangana government would stand firmly with the family throughout the recovery process.
She urged them not to lose hope and said the government would ensure the victim receives the best possible medical treatment until she fully recovers. The Minister also assured the family that the government would extend all necessary support during this difficult period.
As part of the assistance, Minister Seethakka and Justice Panchakshari jointly handed over a financial assistance cheque of Rs 5 lakh to the victim’s family on behalf of the State government.
The Minister said the government would closely monitor the girl’s treatment, rehabilitation, and welfare needs. She added that the administration is committed to ensuring both financial and legal support for the family.
Seethakka reiterated that the State government would remain by the family’s side until the victim regains her health and returns to normal life. She emphasized that every possible measure would be taken to support the child and secure justice in the case.
