TG EAPCET 2026 Web Options Open Tomorrow Until July 1

TG EAPCET 2026 Web Options | Hyderabad, June 24: TG EAPCET 2026 Engineering first phase counselling web options will open from June 25 and remain available until July 1, 2026, according to an official announcement by Commissioner of Technical Education and Counselling Convenor A. Srideva Sena.

Certificate verification for eligible candidates continues until June 29, 2026. Candidates can register their web options at the official portal tgeapcet.nic.in.

So far, 84,002 candidates have paid the processing fee and booked their counselling slots for TG EAPCET 2026. Of these, 36,393 candidates have already attended certificate verification. Among the slot-booked candidates, 2,793 hold ranks within the top 5,000, while 11,841 candidates hold ranks between 5,001 and 20,000.

A total of 1,14,007 seats are available across 175 engineering colleges in Telangana for this counselling round. Of these, 81,620 seats fall under the convenor quota. Universities and their affiliated 22 colleges together offer 6,046 seats. JNTUH accounts for the highest share with 3,150 seats, followed by Kakatiya University with 780 seats and Osmania University with 630 seats.

TG EAPCET 2026 Web Options : CSE Dominates with 27,431 Convenor Seats Across Telangana Colleges

Two private universities together offer 1,800 seats, of which 1,260 fall under the convenor quota. Among private unaided engineering colleges, 151 institutions offer 1,06,161 total seats, with 74,314 available under the convenor quota. These figures represent the bulk of seats available in the counselling process.

• Computer Science and IT related courses: 81,768 total seats | 58,038 convenor seats
  — CSE alone: 27,431 convenor seats

  — ECE alone: 10,851 convenor seats
  Civil, Mechanical and related courses: 9,310 total seats | 6,871 convenor seats
  Other engineering courses: 1,033 total seats | 916 convenor seats

Computer Science and IT-related courses continue to attract the highest student interest. CSE and its allied branches account for over half of all available convenor seats. Furthermore, CSE with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning specialisation has emerged as a high-demand branch, reflecting industry trends in technology and employment.

The counselling convenor advised candidates not to share their login ID, password, OTP, or mobile number with anyone during the web option entry process. Additionally, candidates are encouraged to enter as many options as possible in the first phase to improve their chances of securing a preferred college and branch.

Manual Options Entry Form

Before submitting web options online, candidates must complete the Manual Options Entry Form with college codes and branch codes ready for reference.

Moreover, candidates should review college profiles on tgeapcet.nic.in and arrange their preferences in order of priority before final submission. The convenor stressed that careful and thorough option entry in round one significantly improves the probability of a preferred allotment.
