Hyderabad, July 1: Telangana Minister for Minorities Welfare and Public Enterprises Mohammed Azharuddin completed the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) Enumeration process on Wednesday and appealed to citizens across the State to complete the exercise on time to protect their voting rights.
The Minister submitted the SIR Enumeration Form for himself and his family at his residence in Banjara Hills after the Booth Level Officer (BLO) visited the premises and completed the verification process.

Mohammed Azharuddin said the Special Intensive Revision is an important exercise undertaken by the Election Commission of India to keep electoral rolls accurate, updated and inclusive.
He appealed to all eligible voters in Telangana to fill in their Enumeration Forms carefully, verify the details, attach the required documents wherever applicable, sign the forms and submit them to their respective Booth Level Officers within the prescribed deadline.

The Minister also advised voters to retain the acknowledged copy of the submitted form for future reference.
He urged citizens who have not yet received the Enumeration Form to contact their Booth Level Officers or use the Election Commission’s online voter services without delay.
Stressing the importance of electoral participation, Azharuddin said voting is a constitutional right and one of the strongest pillars of democracy. He said completing the SIR process on time would help ensure that eligible voters continue to remain on the electoral rolls.
The Minister also noted that discussions on the voter list revision process are continuing across Telangana. He appealed to citizens to cooperate with Election Commission officials and Booth Level Officers to ensure the successful completion of the Special Intensive Revision.
