According to data released by the Telangana Chief Electoral Officer as of 8 am on July 5, only 57.79 percent of the 29,79,130 registered voters in Medchal Malkajgiri district had received their enumeration forms.

Hyderabad recorded 64.14 percent distribution among its 47,36,669 voters, the highest electorate in the State. Rangareddy reported 77.58 percent distribution out of its 36,99,743 registered voters.

Many residents attributed the slow progress to Booth Level Officers (BLOs) being unavailable or not visiting homes as required. Several voters complained that BLOs had not reached their localities even after 12 days of the exercise.

Although the guidelines require door to door distribution, some residents alleged that BLOs were distributing forms at community halls or asking voters to collect them instead of delivering them at their residences.

With the exercise scheduled to be completed within 30 days, voters expressed concern that delays in form distribution could affect their electoral registration process.

Data released by the Chief Electoral Officer showed that, except for Hyderabad, Medchal Malkajgiri, Rangareddy and Sangareddy, all other 29 districts recorded more than 90 percent distribution as of July 5.

Jogulamba Gadwal district registered the highest coverage, with 99.83 percent of its 5,03,859 voters receiving enumeration forms. Across Telangana, 86.42 percent of the total 2,92,31,268 voters have received the forms so far.
