Hyderabad: Schools and colleges across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are expected to remain closed on Friday, July 24, following a bandh call by several student and youth organisations protesting the alleged NEET paper leak.
Several organisations, including SFI, PDSU, AISF, AISA, NSUI, DYFI and AIYF, have extended support to the bandh.

The student organisations have demanded the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, alleging lapses in the conduct of the NEET examination.
They have also sought strict action against those allegedly involved in the paper leak and called for stronger transparency and accountability in the examination system.
Student leaders have appealed to students, teachers and the management of government and private schools, junior colleges, degree colleges, professional colleges and universities across both States to support the bandh.
Protests, rallies and demonstrations are also expected at university campuses and district headquarters in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on July 24.
