Hyderabad, July 25: Minister Seethakka said a 100 day action plan is ready to prevent drinking water problems. She reviewed Mission Bhagiratha at the State Secretariat on Saturday. She also asked officials to monitor Singur and Paleru reservoirs daily.
The minister ordered officials to review reservoir levels every day. She also asked them to use local water resources better. She wanted recharge pits and rainwater harvesting at borewells to move faster.
Seethakka also asked officials to share water supply updates through village wise WhatsApp groups. She said water management must involve women’s groups, sarpanches and ward members. She stressed that people should not face drinking water problems under any circumstance.
