Hyderabad, July 28 (Maxim News): Hyderabad District In-charge Minister and Transport and BC Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar on Tuesday said the Telangana government is committed to ensuring the speedy resolution of public grievances through the Prajavani programme.
The minister reviewed the Prajavani grievance redressal programme at Praja Bhavan, where he personally received petitions from citizens and directed officials to take immediate action. He also spoke to concerned officials over the phone and instructed them to resolve issues without delay.
During the review, Ponnam Prabhakar examined complaints related to land disputes, Indiramma housing, 2BHK houses, revenue, municipal administration, and welfare departments. He instructed officials to ensure that every eligible applicant receives justice through a transparent and time-bound process.
The minister also reviewed petitions submitted under the Pravasi Prajavani initiative, which addresses grievances of Telangana residents living abroad. He directed officials to coordinate with the concerned departments and resolve issues related to overseas employment, jobs, and other difficulties at the earliest.
Ponnam Prabhakar further reviewed the number of petitions received through Prajavani, their disposal status, and the action taken by various departments. He instructed officials to examine every representation responsibly and dispose of them within the stipulated timeframe to avoid inconvenience to the public.
The minister also interacted with Telangana State Planning Board Vice Chairman Chinna Reddy and Prajavani Nodal Officer Vidyasagar to review the functioning of the programme and the grievance redressal mechanism.
He reiterated that the state government gives the highest priority to resolving public grievances and remains committed to providing transparent, efficient, and timely solutions through the Prajavani initiative. (Maxim News)
